Ástriður Jósefina Ólafsdóttir & Clizia Macchi - Art Exhibition / Open Studio

Ástriður Jósefina Ólafsdóttir and Clizia Macchi have decided to join in a duo pop up exhibition / open studio / common creative space in the ex Þula Gallery.

Although of different nationalities and not knowing each other until a few years ago, these two artistis have lot in common: both born in artists families and grown up in small villages in central Italy, the passion for aerial sports and the desire for a new start culminated with their moving to Iceland around the same time.

For a period of time they had studios at the same address and naturally a dialogue around their personal creative path has emerged and strongly developed over time, culminating with the idea of a making a project together.

During theis time a selection of old and new paintings will be exposed and available for sale, and a new joint project will be started and completed…
