About the event
Nóttin Lýst or The Night Enlightened is a solo exhibition by Clizia Macchi entirely focused on the representation of the Night as we perceive it and the way it has been described in literature and folklore across time and countries.
A natural progression from the Winter Spirits series of 2021-23, these very nightly paintings of mythological creatures are dark but not obscure in meaning, nor in their essence. They rather occupy the dreamy dimension of outer space, starry skies and lost legends.
You are welcome to the official opening on Friday 31st of May from 15:00 to 18:30.
The Exhibition is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 10 - 18:30, from the 31st of May to the 21st of June (closed on weekends).
